Do You Support Democratizing Literary Translation?

Problem: Traditional literary translations is a complex and inefficient process, it needs to be easier!

Solution: Connecting authors and translators in a cloud platform that provides visibility and insight through AI tools.

“BLIK” is the name of a new project that I have been working on continuously over the past 6-7 months during most of my after hours and weekends. Before we invest more time in this, for gauging the potential and interest out there we decided to put it up on Kickstarter.

What I would like to ask you specifically today are two:

1- Backing the project on our KickStarter campaign (ANY amount), only if you see value. (please notice that whatever amount you decide to pledge, it will be transferred to our project if and only if the project reaches its goal of $2,500. If the project doesn’t hit its goal after the completion of the campaign (30 days), all of the submitted amounts will return to all backers automatically in full. We hope this doesn’t happen, but that is just how KickStarter campaigns work: All or none!)

2- Sharing the links below with whoever you think might be interested in joining our signup-list or backing this project on Kickstarter. You can share this information either by forwarding this email or sharing the links below on your social media with adding a quick explanatory note, if possible.

You can find all the information and links you might need for learning about the details of the project and backing on Kickstarter down below:

  • Detailed information about BLIK on our website and blog
  • BLIK’s Explainer video on YouTube
  • BLIK’s Kickstarter Campaign (the campaign starts on Tuesday evening, Feb 2nd and will run for 30 days. If you decide to support BLIK’s Kickstarter campaign, we would appreciate it if you can do it on the first day or as soon as you can. This way you will also help the campaign to get the necessary momentum in the early days.)
