Watching a soccer game in São Paulo

Today I finally found a time out of my schedule to watch a soccer match live in Brazil, for the first time. That was quite an experience! Many people showed up and the stadium was almost full. The game was between team Sao Paulo and team Coritiba. Although non of them won the game but it was absolutely an exciting game with many excited fans! Everybody was following the game standing up and not sitting down during the whole game because there were all excited and full of energy, supporting their team… They were not more polite than the other soccer fans elsewhere though.

The game was on time and completely well organized. The game had also a high level of quality. The most interesting point for me was that the time that the fans of team Sao Paulo, who have occupied almost %90 of the capacity of the stadium, were more supportive was just after they received the goals. Maybe a few seconds of shock and silence and then they started cheering the team with more energy and louder voice!
