Swirl: an interactive tutorial on R

R is one of the most common and most powerful softwares nowadays. If you are interested to begin learning this popular programing language, the following is a great way to go. This will teach you the basics of R in an interactive environment. To install R for Mac OS users who have Macports installed on their machine, one needs to run the following terminal command:

sudo port install R

To install swirl to provide the above described R tutorial, one has to run

R  # Calling R environment
install.packages("swirl")  # Installs swirl
library(swirl)  # Loads swirl
swirl()  # Runs swirl
